To begin with, the question is why did your tire fail in the first place?
It is easy to blame the tire maker. That is what I did as I was bringing my smoking, shredded, two month old tire to the side of the interstate. Then I notice the baseball sized dent in the rim and the broken spring.
Surprisingly, neither the DW or I felt the road hazard and it had no impact on the TT handling; just a lot of smoke and stink that ended in a shredded tire and a bent axle.
Nails, scrapes of metal and other debris do not care how expensive or who made the tire they puncture. Once the tire shreds, the reason it shred is lost. Unless you can see the ball sized dent in the rim.
