The auto companies rate their trucks not a rag. Google the SAE tow standards and let me know who, they say is going to be hurt and by how much. The big loser is Ford and the reason they refused to adapt the new standard.
Since you said Ford had the most to loose I believe it's up to you to back up that claim not me to do the work for you. So please do post that link. It's been reported that the EB F150 tows its max quite well. So does the F250/350. As does the GM trucks. Not sure about Ram as all tests have them at the back of the pack in 1/2 ton and OK on 3/4 and 1 ton.
