- bmanningExplorerI'll never understand rv.net math.
(That's a nice truck) + (it's not the brand I own) + (oh man is it better than mine?) x (must insult it to justify my choice) = (there, I feel better now)
Remember guys...

Well, here we go. Mention TRUCK (and brand) and it starts a fight.
OK I'll give it a try
Volvo
all the rest are 'girly' trucks;) - TurnThePageExplorer^So true!! Ha ha!!!
- ib516Explorer IIThe award isn't really all that meaningful, but I am of the opinion that the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel (although pricey) will be a sales hit. Pretty significant truck for the market. One that actually delivers on the promise of fuel economy.
I seem to remember the same loudmouth that's spouting off here was boohooing a while ago about how the Ram 1500 diesel would never get 28 mpg real world. Now that he's been proven wrong by several independent sources --it's just that the truck is "ugly". LOL - he should have been a lawyer with that gift he has in debate....:R - larry_barnhartExplorerKinda like winning a nobel peace prize for doing nothing but it happens. I just got out of a 2013 dodge 1500 a few minutes ago and it is a nice pickup. not a truck but enough for the owner's use. Nothing body loses on any brand as I see the facts with open eyes.

Worst of the bunch as in what, ride, comfort, luxury, fuel mileage, looks or what? broad statement you made there.
For the 1500's
Lowest Payload
Lowest Tow rating
Lowest quality (as per CR, JD Power, etc)
Ugliest
Near bottom on resale value
Near bottom on Fuel Economy
Near bottom on comfort/ride/luxury
Highest on gimmicks
Motor Trend bent their own rules 3x to make this POS win, and that looses all credibility.
1. TOTY must be available 1/1 - Ram will be 3/1
2. TOTY must be all new or substantially redesigned. 1 powerplant is not that (remember, 8 speed was last year)
3. TOTY has no published fuel economy, only their testing and others.
Sergio paid off for this, plain and simple. It should have been contender for 2014's award, not 2013.
Man are you bitter?
Little of what you have posted is true in the real world experiences. - itguy08Explorer

- donn0128Explorer IIBeauty is in the eye of the beholder!
Some hate a particular product because their buddy said his cousins brothers uncles friend had one once back in 1955 and it was a piece of junk. All of the new crop of vehicles are far superior to their counterparts from even 10 years ago. As long as a person has a need for that particular product and he is happy with the ride and comfort, and it has not left him stranded yet it is a good product. I used to drive Fords and GM products. Had issues with all of them. Current ride is a Dodge dually. So far it has been great. Could it ride a bit smoother? Sure! Could it look sleeker inside? Maybe. But, and this is the most important thing. It starts, drives easily, gets excellent fuel economy both towing and non towing, and is reliable. So what more do I need?
