I ran a power cord to the A/C unit today to test it out. It is an old 86 model Intertherm Polaris model. 11000 BTU output. It fired right up and was blowing cold air in no time. Kinda frustrated that it worked so well, I was planning on taking it out. Now I suppose I will has to start saving for a generator.
Took a trip topside to get a better look at the roof and the A/C unit. Terrible weather sealing is what I found. The unit will have to be fully removed and reinstalled to properly achieve a good seal.

The roof itself looks like it is in decent shape. After some Eternabond and Elastomeric Roof Coating, I should be in good shape.
