When we camp at sites with full hookup (which is rare), I usually don't empty the black tank until the end of the weekend. You don't want to have your black tank hooked to the drain and emptying every time you use the toilet, you want it to fill up some before emptying so everything can get cleaned out - your black tank will probably easily last a long weekend before needing to be drained. I wouldn't bother getting an extra long black tank "stinky slinky" hose unless you will be staying long term at a campground.
A lot of campgrounds around us have "grey water drains", which is great because you can shower all you want without worrying about filling the grey tank. What is best to use with that is a sewer drain cap with a garden hose fitting. Hookup a garden hose (I have one that is marked with grey duct tape) and run the hose to the drain, usually simply a 1"-2" PVC pipe stuck in the ground.
Glad you had a fun trip!
