I heard a rumor Ford no longer immediately releases the specs for their new oil filters. So the only part originally available is OEM.
When my V-10 broke, I discovered that Ford had a TSB out that stated something to the effect that engine oiling failures would not be covered if a Motorcraft oil filter was not used.
Anybody know the facts?
