If the sales scale of this motor is large enough, I would not be the least bit surprised if another European filter company like Bosch, or Mann, or Mahle manufacture this filter for the European market that runs this exact same motor. Kind of doubt RAM designed the oil filter canister and filters for this motor, that's something the engine manufacturer specs out locally and sub contracts for in Italy, by Fiat. That VW owns Lambo Bugatti and Ducati, or controlling interests, tells me that Germany has penetrated the Italian market for engine design, and of course, oil filters for those engines. So I'd look possibly to a german filter manufacturer to somewhere down the line make these filter too. Money to be made, just need to cross reference the correct filter part number, I would think.
