Palamino is certainly on the low end of quality but, if you don't want fancy it may be just what you need.
I would get the 8' bed and a 3500 series truck. You will be surprised how fast the weight adds up. When you count water, propane, batteries, accessories (none of these are included in the camper's advertised weight) it get's heavier. Then add the weight of passengers, pets, gear, truck bolt-ons, etc.
