Isn't that true that we tend to not believe others till we get our own experience?
Not only camper, but dually beats in trailer hauling.
Even dually takes more time to park and I need to make 3-point turn on our driveway, you will find it as slight inconvenience for lot of benefits.
I don't even see dually burning more fuel, but that is mostly due newer engine.
Enjoy the ride.
I believe there was a reason they were made. Finding out why. There's a big difference between being legal, and getting by. As far as parking, I drive a concrete truck for a living. Anything less that size is a vacation. But I can parallel park that truck fine. When it comes to my personal trucks, it takes a couple of tries.
Fuel mileage...I never get what others claim. I have a small grade on the way to and from work to get into and out of town. Then the freeway is kind of hilly. If everyone claims 16, I get 12.5.
