First Tow with the 2012 F150 Screw 5.0 4WD and 3.73 axle

Sounds like Ford has at least 2 winners in the F-150. I just got back yesterday from a 650 mile multi-day trip, pulling in conditions from very steep and crooked, to interstate. I love my Eco! I agree with your assessment of the tranny. I was impressed at how it would pick the right gear to hold speed down on descents. No manual shifting needed, just tap the brakes to initially get to the desired speed, the truck does the rest.
