We usually cook what we would cook at home. Hamburgers and/or hot dogs, steaks and chicken are cooked on the barbeque grill. Meatloaf will be baked in the oven and spaghetti will be cooked on the stovetop. Once in awhile we will have supper in a bag for two in the microwave that we bought at the supermarket. I wouldn't go overboard and fix something fancy just make what you would ordinarily serve.
