I remember our first trip over 10 years ago. Our water heater went out and we had to microwave bath water for our five month old!
I suggest keeping a camping journal of your trips. Maybe get the kids their own. You just write where you went, how many miles your drove, how old the kids were and some of the things you did. It's fun to read it years later and reminisce of times gone by.
