Fixed or portable solar?
I want to add a 300 watt panel.66"x40", 40lbs. I can put it on the trailer roof or I can use it on a ground stand. Which is better?

If mounted on roof you must be in full sunlight for the panels to be effective. Even shading one cell will basically take that panel out of commission.
