Fixed or portable solar?
I want to add a 300 watt panel.66"x40", 40lbs. I can put it on the trailer roof or I can use it on a ground stand. Which is better?

Great point about shading - it is true that one cell shaded takes down the whole panel.
Portable is sounding like the right approach.
