I have the V-Cross Vibe 826VFK and we bought because of the floor plan and is the first slide-out trailer we've owned. We prefer the bath next to the rear bedroom. I find it tows the same as my 3 prior SunnyBrooks, all about the same weight, and I get about 1 MPG better gas mileage with the V nose with the same tow vehicle. That's over a 10% improvement. I originally started with a friction sway control hitch setup and found less sway upgrading to the Reese dual cam. The Vibe has an Equal-i-zer 4 point hitch and it is better yet. I visited the V-Cross factory in northern Indiana last summer. Perhaps all the V nose trailers by Forest River are made there thus the lack of product in the west. We have been to SLC several times with our Vibe and to AZ twice so mountain travel is not an issue with this trailer. You have more truck than I do which should be a plus for you.
