Flat Towing Pickups
I am looking for a mid-size 4x4 pickup to flat tow behind my RV. Any suggestions o what models of 2016 or 2017 truck I should be looking at on the lots? GM, Nissan, Toyota.

Just about any newer 4x4 will not have a manual transfer case that would allow it to be in neutral position. That being said, there could be a couple of possibilities you can try. 1. That should be able to tow 4 wheel down. 2, a friend of mine has a 4x4 ford ranger pickup that Ford re-programmed the computer at a cost of $450.00 so he can tow it 4 wheels down behind his motor home. Some but not all that don't have manual xfer cases have a way of getting it into neutral. I was at a RV repair place and they were hooking up a Jeep(not sure of the model) but it was all automatic, so I ask him if there was a way to shift the xfer into neutral. He said you see this little hole ( which was in the center consol) you poke paper clip in that hole and wait a few seconds and listen and you can hear it shift into neutral
