During the tourist season, getting into any of the Keys state parks is just a matter of persistence. They are booked solid a year in advance.
All you can do is keep trying and hope to catch a cancellation. If you do, run out and buy a Lotto ticket while your luck is good. :B

Unless only Bahia Honda will do, try the other SP's as well. Our personal favorites are (1) Curry Hammock and (2) Long Key.
Now get out that rabbits foot, rub your left ear with your right hand, go find a four leaf clover, hang up a clove of garlic, put the sugar in the cup before you pour in the tea and get on the internet or phone.
