I tow with a similar size SUV, and pull a 5,600 lb. trailer when loaded. Furthest trip was Houston to Orlando and back, pulling at 70+.
Honestly I got tired of the downshift at every overpass, but if I had time to be leisurely about it, and drive at 55 or 60 it would be far more relaxed and way better MPG. Good luck with your decision.
