I don't have an outdoor kitchen, but the fridge I have in my garage at home will do that when it gets hot in the garage during the summer..
It's not so bad if I keep the garage door closed and there are no 'hot' vehicles in there.. But, when I come home from work and park it in there, I have to ventilate the garage to keep it from getting too hot.. I have a large floor fan that I put in the window and have it set so it 'pulls' the air out of the garage. I open the back door to let air into the garage. The window is close to the fridge, so I think it helps with some air circulation, but it does run a lot and still keeps things cold (my BEER) and the freezer stays frozen..
I've been thinking of getting a small fan to run behind it, as it does have the cooling tubes on the back of the fridge, so maybe that will help??
I've always wanted an outdoor kitchen on a trailer, but now that you mention the 120v and hot weather deal, that does seem like there needs to be a better solution to the deal...
Good luck!
