I've never had a problem with my outdoor fridge keeping stuff cold, it gets warm in that area on hot days but I've never thought it was too hot or anything. Maybe we have different fridges but mine seems to not put out as much heat as I thought it would. It doesn't have the exposed coils on the back like most fridges have. I've camped in over 100 degree weather a lot.
