How much towing do you do? I towed a friend's boat with her F250 w/ a 5.4 on about a 20 mile round trip. I was NOT impressed, even my wife noticed the difference in the passenger seat. It really made me appreciate my Cummins. If the 5.4 was doggy w/ a 20 ft aluminum bass boat on a dual axle trailer, I'm thinking it would not be any better w/ your travel trailer.
