I have one. An 03 F350. I bought it used over 5 yrs ago. My major repairs include injectors just after I bought it and a ficm a little over a year ago, nothing else engine wise. I am more than happy with it but would be a little shy about saying go and get one. It is a great engine in a good truck. I have done the blue spring update and added a coolant filter. I plan on doing an egr delete over the winter.
I recently test drove an 08 Dodge with the 6.7. Nice truck but comparing apples to apples it wasn't much if any better than what I have now. Going to stick with my 6.0.
