LLOONNGG discussion over on the Ford Truck Enthusiasts forum on this topic, too. General consensus over there (guys that are much more into and knowledgeable about the trucks than I am) is that it's a timing thing. A number of oils are still in the certification pipeline and are likely to be certified in the end - as Bill said.
