Ford 7.3 Diesel...only 185 HP
Hard to believe that the first 7.3 was only 185 horsepower. Was also IDI (In Direct Injection) and non turbo for those who were not paying attention to diesel powered trucks back in the late 80's.:...

I test drove a new Chev 6.5 turbo diesel with posi 4.10 gearing back in the day. Given their history, I'm glad I didn't buy it but that was the only stock diesel truck I have ever driven that would scorch the back tires from a stop.
