And depending on the trim, 4X4. crew cab they want $12K+ for it. Unfortunately the auto tranny is not as good as the engine. I still have a 02 with the ZF 6spd that came stock with 275HP. One of these days I'll get around to putting the tuner I've had for 10+ years in it. I've been using the turbo cold weather butterfly as an exhaust brake since new and it works really well. Two more payments and it will be mine.:W
Almost all diesels whether older or newer just seem to be priced so high. The older ones that are in solid shape really hold their values.
NADA books our 2000 F350 at around $12,275, which I suppose is good for a 15 year old truck. Having said that, if someone offered me that in cash right now there is no way I'd take it. It's a 4 x 4, 7.3L PSD with the crew cab, long bed with matching truck cap, interior is in excellent condition and the exterior is in good shape (no rust), etc.
