- Funny how Ford picked the displacement of their most legendary diesel engine, and Chevy picked the displacement of theirs as the displacements of the new "big block" gas engines, and not the displacements of their old legendary big block gas engines.
I would've expected Ford to reintroduce the 460, and GM the 454... - I can’t believe that new grill design. Nostrils! Right after Ram thankfully deleted them.
Makes my nose itch. Deep inside.
:):) - What a time to be alive! HAHA! This next gen of all the HD trucks looks really good. Both gasser and diesel.
- Interesting the oil cap says 5w30. Also, they say it'll be a step up from the 6.2L gas engine that makes 385hp/430tq, and slot in between the 6.2L gasser and the diesel for power and capability. So, the diesel is 450hp and the 6.2L gas is 385hp.
I'm going to guess it should beat the 410hp/429tq of the 6.4L Hemi from RAM, so I'd estimate 425hp and 500tq for the 7.3L gasser.
Anyone else want to take a guess?
