I wonder if you have to wear a pirate costume to drive it? Seems to be the norm for the accountants and tax lawyers that ride Harleys....man are they ever scary looking
WILD HOGS!
....and people complain about "noisy diesel engines" in campgrounds...then some fool rides by on a POS Harley that he has removed the baffles from...and it always seems to need to be revved up for no reason.....I guess a big "HEY LOOK AT ME PLEASE" sign would be too conspicuous? Those things would wake the dead!
Loud pipes - they don't save lives, they annoy the he!! out of people!

Take note diesel owners. This is how we see you. We're not impressed by your pickup truck. Nor do we want to hear it or smell it for an hour while you set up or pack up.
I feel the same about mufflerless diesels....especially the Cummins guys. Why would anyone want to remove a muffler completely from anything? Guess I must be getting old
awe boo hoo!!! at least we don't need one of those POS Harleys to disturb the peace! RATTLE ON CUMMINS!!!! :B
So you're one of those...:R - fj12ryderExplorer IIIWell, I have seen some Harley's that I considered a POS, but refuse to label the whole brand as such. After all, some of my best friends ride Harley's. :)

I think it comes in when folks call something they don't like a POS.
The only thing I hate is the term "haters". Why is it you can't dislike something without being called out as a "hater"? I don't hate Harley's but I do tend to dislike the basic design.
Just criticize something, and you're a "hater". Bosh!! - LessmoreExplorer II

I have to agree.
The 'hater' label bugs me. It seems to be applied quickly, easily and never get's into well argued specifics. To me it's a meaningless generalization.
A word I would put right alongside...'whatever'. - fj12ryderExplorer IIIThe only thing I hate is the term "haters". Why is it you can't dislike something without being called out as a "hater"? I don't hate Harley's but I do tend to dislike the basic design.

I must have made a mistake and clicked on the Gold Wing forum somehow. So much Harley Hate there too. But they are all old geezers that wish they could be kool again.
Not a Harley hater here, although I do hate loud pipes, on any street bike.
I hope you enjoy your 2015, when you get it.
I thought most Harley riders had Dodge/Ram trucks.
Guess not, happy riding,

- Sprink-FitterExplorerLike I have said for years.
If loud pipes save lives, why do people get hit by trains? - DirtyOilExplorer
