You are right about the sportbikes being dangerous. I was kidding about the threading traffic. I go fast when the time and place are right, and do enjoy canyon racing, just not in traffic.

The cost of insurance took many sportbike riders off the road. The ins. industry claimed about 98 percent of first time sport bike riders crashed in the first year.

You are right about the yuppies also. The sad thing is most of them bought their expensive Harleys in their later years, and had no riding experience. Many of them crashed and got hurt, as did their unsuspecting passengers.

My BIL has a F150 Harley, but that is a funny story, too long to tell!
