I have to disagree with you, they are more dangerous. They will go super fast in a very short distance! The danger is they don't feel like they are going as fast as they are. You are right about the rider being the factor. The people that buy this type, use them to the potential they are designed for (thus high ins risk). My insurance papers, on my last two have bold print (undesirable insurance risk).

If you have ridden a late model sport bike, you will know what I mean, about not sensing the speed.

I did not mean to turn this humorous thread into a potential arguement. I'll PM you with further friendly discussion.
