Now that we are back to topic, I'll give a short version of BIL's Harley 150.
It is a 2000 supercab 5.4 2wd. He bought it new, with the idea, it would be a very limited production. He borrowed the money to buy it, as an investment. He drove it 17 miles from the dealership, stopped to show me, and proceeded home.
It has been sitting in the shed ever since, with the meter now showing 26 miles.
For years he claimed he was going to make a fortune on it. He is now 65, has no family, other than my wife, to pass it on to.
I'm thinking he has about $30,000 invested, after paying interest.
What would you want to pay for it now? Some times these things do work out, but my thinking is, this one, not so much.

Actually a pretty sad story, if you ask me. Those are great trucks and are built to be driven and enjoyed. Some people prefer just saving it for the next guy. From personal experience, I can tell you that when you are sitting in the hospital for an extended time, you don't care too much about having a show vehicle that you are saving for the next guy. Get out and drive it! The dirt washes off.
