Okay, a few weeks ago, I switch from a lifetime Chevy owner to a Ford. My Chevy friends said I joined the dark side. My Ford friends welcomed me with open arms. My Dodge friends wanted to know why I needed so many moving parts. But my Toyota friend (yep, only one) had the funniest comment of all:"Did you get the new tailgate warmer with that truck?". Me, "Why would I need a tailgate warmer?" Toyota owner, "so when you push it in the Winter, your hands won't get cold". There were quite a few laughs. We all know that these trucks have their strong points, and each one of them is well designed to handle the jobs we throw at them. BUT... What is the best "insult" you've ever heard about the various trucks out there? Please, good natured responses only.

It may be hard to beat that tailgate one:BI like the truck I have at the time. I've had Fords, Chevy's, Nissan, and Honda.....and have no issues with Dodge.Each has served it's purpose....some were better than others, but then again, it depended on what I wanted/needed at the time.Ironically, I classified myself as a "Chevy" guy....but when I look back at it, it's been over 15 years since I owned one.....and all are cars are Hondas...and the RV is a Ford.

I teased a guy on here a few months ago about the bug spray that you put on tail gates. Makes it easier to remove the bugs that run into you.

Why yes it does! And to add insult to injury that's a 6.0 PSD Ford towing that Cummins. I took the pic myself on a trip to Denver a few years ago.

Yep, my neighbor did that. It worked GREAT!
We still haven't decided if it is a Fummins or a Fodge. It definitely is NOT a "Cord"!

Way back when I was a "young'un", it was:
FORD: "Found on road, dead" or "Fix or repair daily"
CHEVROLET: "Chevys (shimmies) all over the road, and lays in the garage"
Back then, I had mostly Fords or Chevys.

Not that much rust for an approx 40 year old SUV! Rust is only where road salt or packed mud gathers. Rest of the body still looks very solid!

That red Ford looks like its going to eat the trailer and white GM. That truck would have made a great recipient for a cummins. Now, how about a Fummins?

I've heard that Ford will be including a new protective coating on the back of the tailgate to make it easier to wash the splattered bugs off.
