I had a 2015 3500 6.0 and a 2015 3500 Dmax. Pulling 25K or so the 6.0 would get 5-6 mpg and the Dmax 7-9. The gas had to work a lot harder and it is a more comfortable experience pulling with the Dmax especially with the exhaust brake. However, gas is always cheaper here than diesel.
