Just to be clear, I was laughing with you, not at you. Been in the same situation and couldn't have described the difference any better.
Anybody that hasn't towed with an "eco-thingy", has no idea. Even the big V8s, hemi or otherwise, are no match for the mild mannered towing characteristics of the ecoboost. Diesel is the only other next step.
I had peace of mind as a primary consideration last purchase. An eco or diesel would be on my mind constantly. Wondering if it was making a new sound or if the fuel quality was OK...
