Faster, yes, more power, no.
Not more HP more torque, and more low end torque! That is needed for towing, this is the reason EcoBoost and turbo diesels and EB tow so well.
To me the natural progression for a Ford owner would be to go from an EcoBoost to a HD 6.7 diesel, it the only Ford engine that will tow like an EB.
