Unfortunately every vehicle has problems. I know there's a lot of problems with Fords, but there's a lot with GM and Dodges as well. It's all how the maker deals with your warranty issues. I would give the nod to Ford and Dodge, and the thumbs down to GM. I won't ever buy another GM vehicle. Nissan also doesn't back up their warranty without a fight so a new Nissan is not in my future.
I had a 2013 Town and Country rental car and the wife said the thing was a piece of******because the auto opening doors wouldn't work right as well as other things. I think I was the first renter of this as the mileage was under 100 miles. For the price, I couldn't believe all the option you got, but it did feel cheap and a grown adult couldn't even sit on the 3rd row seats as there's not enough headroom. Kind of defeats the purpose for family trips unless your kids are under the age of 9!
On the bright side, that 3.6L and 6 speed transmission make one quick minivan although it did lack low end power.
