ford f-150 ecoboost?
I hear a lot of bad press on the ecoboost. Does anyone here pull with one and what as your experience been with it. Would you buy it again? I just can't make up my mind on it.

I think a few of you missed the ;) associated with goducks10's post about 6cyl being ill-suited to tow
(hint: he drives a 6cyl you may have heard of that has forged a rep as a pretty decent engine)

Any problems with the EB were very limited and an extremely small percentage. It has been around long enough to prove it is a great towing motor in the right application.

Just don't expect miracles in the mpg department as many people report its good, but not amazingly so. I think all the advertising had people's expectations too high in the mpg area.

Mine gets about 10 mpg towing at 55-60. It can get 21 mpg, empty on the highway at 55. 73 mph on the highway yields about 18 mpg. Cold engine, lots of stopping and starting, and a heavy foot can bring it down considerably from there.
