I think your Odyssey is a front wheel drive; not great for towing much weight. The weight on the rear takes some off of the drive wheels lessening traction. Years ago we towed a pop-up with a front wheel drive Toyota and going up a gravel hill lot's of wheel spin. Also, the trans., radiator, brakes and more are more car like and not made for towing loads. Maybe your Odyssey is rated to tow 3700 lbs. but I'd be surprised. Also you have to add all the weight in the van and contents of the trailer which would put it over 4000.
