Ford F150 VS Honda Odyssey

There's no real comparison here, I would get the truck hands down. Everything from frame, brakes, transmissions, differentials, ect on the truck is meant to tow. Wife has the Acura MDX with the same platform as you have on your minivan. Hers is rated at 5000lb to pull for that year. Would I do it? Nope........ Nada ain't going to happen. I don't think the tranny would last as long as it would or should. Yes u may have ur van set up to tow now, but it's not really meant to in the long run. A truck would serve your purpose much better overall. Just my take on it, not negative, but to me the question that your asking is really easy to answer. The proper tow vehicle is the most important choice to make when towing.
