Ford F350/6.0 diesel

What do you all think of the Ford 6.0 diesel engine? Have begun shopping for our 5ver tow vehicle and am finding several F350/6.0 DRW trucks and a very few Dodge or Chevy's in our area. Around here the 6.0 is not liked much for reliability and very high maintenance costs. Thanks for your help.

    Also to add to this topic we are not looking for a flashy tow vehicle, just one to do the job and something serviceable that this old tech can keep going down the road and enjoy retirement.
