The 3.5 egoboost has almost the exact same numbers that matter. Taking into account the ever changing emissions BS with diesels in general and the fact you would be getting close to the same mileage loaded/unloaded/towing, what's the benefit?
Sounds like Ford will be competing with themselves. You can have the egoboost, or the egodiesel.

I bet once you delete all the junk emissions stuff, it gets good mileage and breathes properly too.
