Very true. I highly doubt that most people here have ever towed a situation like the Ike, and even those that have don't tow it very often. For a one time tow, does it really matter if you hit 60 mph or 50? In the grand scheme of things it takes another couple minutes one time in your life.
It sure is fun to pass other combos going up hills though. I've never driven the Ike but use the 17 mile long climb on the way to Las Vegas as my testing ground. It's not all that steep but it is never ending and 100 degrees outside.
Isn't this new Ford motor going to be a twin turbo?
Compound turbocharging (like Cummins and Cat used on their Class 8 diesels. One turbo with coarse vanes for low exhaust flow boost, the other with fine vanes for high exhaust flow boost. Varible vane turbo's are issue prone.
