Exactly right. I believe my 1996 7.3L had 235/425 IIRC.
I have a 7.3 in my 2000 Ford Excursion and that thing is heavy and it does fine pulling my trailer with the old 4sp transmission.

To have the same amount of power in a lighter vehicle with a 10sp transmission should do quite well if they give it adequate payload.
