I owned a 2015 Ram Ecodiesel which was great. It was a Limited Crew Cab. I had 2 issues with the truck. They payload was around 1250# and the towing capacity was around 7000#. I have plans to tow heavier, so I decided to sell the truck. I just wish the 3/4 and 1 ton truck got better fuel mileage empty.
I averaged 27mpg unloaded, so that was amazing, but I was often overloaded on payload and it did fine. Jus think 4 200# men in the truck, does not leave much payload for anything else.
If Ford ends up with a decent towing capacity and good empty fuel mileage, they will have a winner. The price may get up near the F250/F350 Powertroke and that will be the issue.
