I just spoke with our national fleet manager about this engine. He is the one that purchases all the vehicles for our 500+ truck fleet. He said that Ford hardly touched on it in the last annual fleet meeting, but expects to get some more detailed information here pretty soon about it. I told him to send it to me when he does so I can post it here.
He did say that he plans to buy about 20 regular cabs with this engine later this year as parts delivery trucks if the combined mileage numbers are in the mid 20's and has a payload greater than 1,700 lbs after options.
