Proof is in the pudding. See what the uptake is first. I know people on many US sites were not great fans of the "Euro" Transit. It is now breaking Van records for Ford.
Have you driven one of these FROD POS vans?!?!?!? I want the semi dilapidated sprinter van I had with 170K miles at work back! Fuel mileage with the gas motor is 1/3 that of the MB. The 14' interior versions, the WB is longer on the MB, so you can carry 3 4' pallets and have a balance ride on the front and rear axels. With the FROD, the back pallet is ALL behind the RA. You can not even put a single 2000 lbs pallet in the very back, push it forward some and still have decent driving ability.......
The only reason folks are buying these things, is the 5-10K less cost! Otherwise, they suck!
NOBODY at work likes the FROD vans!
