I didn't say I didn't like it in in a truck. I said it is a bit under powered for me in the truck it is going in and the 11k tow rating. A lower tow rating like the numbers I stated earlier in this thread or maybe like the tow rating the Expedition EL currently has then I can see, but not over 11k with that little of power.
I guess I must have misunderstood. It seems that you have regularly stated that this engine (wether in this flavor, or in the RAM with nearly identical output) is unsuited for a truck - too little HP. Is that not your position?
I don't understand what you are saying about the 11k tow rating?
For the record, my stance is this is a great option for the vast majority of 150/1500 owners that will never tow much, if anything. Or for the many that tow a boat or small horse trailer. I would gladly trade the towing power of the 6.2 in my Denali to get a significant increase in MPG. This engine would be ideal to tow my 7000ish pound boat.
