I have to disagree with you there based what I have seen with my own eyes. I don't think this Ford diesel will be able to tow 11k in extreme conditions within a limit that is acceptable to most.
Like I said, I have no idea what the Ford 3.0 will do within it's specs, but I do know and everyone else has seen on TFL what the 3.0 has done within its own specs in extreme conditions. If that minute is more valuable to you than whatever money you might save through the ownership of a truck, that is your choice and I for one am happy we have so many choices. This subject just keeps going back to opinion again on what one person thinks vs what someone else might value more.
