I am feeding RAM Truck with my second LongHorn high end truck. In the past it was all about economy. Thankfully at this time in my life I can buy what I want.
The leather and interior fit and finish of the new RAM's is top cabin.
hey, doesn't hurt that diesel prices are dropping:)....I paid $3.22 a gallon for it in Sevierville TN, this past weekend. Saw it at a station here in Asheville, (rip off capitol of NC), for $3.25 a gallon this morning.
Bummer is, ONCE you've had a loaded out truck like the GM/Chevy's, Fords or Rams, or Toyotas, Nissans, whatever.....it's hard to "go back" to maybe non-heated front and rear seats, Nav system, plush leather, you know, every thing but the kitchen sink....Just saying, IF you get use to all that "fluff", kinda hard to go back to a basic or bear bones truck/car...don't know why...but it seems that way to my wife and I....all the "bells and whistles" just makes it much nicer to drive and tow with.
Paid $3.09 at the local CENEX the other day.
Yea sort of like never owning a vehicle with AC then not wanting to ever go back!
Went with my parents to pick up their truck they ordered from Dave Smith. Saw their truck then went with the salesman to look at Laramie's. Just would not do after seeing my folks LongHorn!
So yea I bought the LongHorn. Happy I did!
