That puts it pretty succinctly.
And to clarify I'm not anti EV one single bit. I'm a fan of most anything mechanical.
I'm just a realist and cant being myself to be an EV nut humper until they become economically as viable as what we have now.
I actually seriously looked at getting a used Tesla a couple years ago as a commuter rig for the wife. Numbers didn't work, still don't, and I would have issue with the Tesla monopoly on their parts and service.
I don't pay people to do things I can/have time to do myself, generally. - Grit_dogNavigatorAnd to clarify I'm not anti EV one single bit. I'm a fan of most anything mechanical.

And I wonder the violent and cold sweat reaction of the humongous diesel and 12-cyl truck owners.
Dude! I can get a 12cyl truck? Point me that direction! I'm just rolling 6 cyl and 8 cyl rigs currently (because the 10s never got very impressive, save for the SRT 10 Ram).
I'm always open and willing to up my cylinder count. He!!, they could quit making ICE powered vehicles today and I'd still be able to drive what I have for another 20 years before even needing to rebuild one! - Grit_dogNavigator

Yah that’s not political at all.
It only is if a Lib takes offense to it!
Isn't that how we run things now in the good ole US of C (China)? - Grit_dogNavigator

I love the mere mention of EV's on here.
Certain posters go into mental breakdown and start drooling and soiling their drawers.
Thanks for making my day a bit brighter.
Haha! So true!
But hey, the last EV thread was getting a little old in the tooth.....lol.
This forum is literally like the movies Groundhog Day or 50 First Dates. Same people, same threads, same posts, over and over and over and over and over again....yet they act like it's something new! - fj12ryderExplorer III

Is it triggering their nightmares that the government is out to yank out their trucks from their cold greasy hands?
Or, go on manic panic of asking themselves what to do as a substitute to compensate for their mommy issues and small manhood psychological hang ups?:o:E:M:B:@ - fj12ryderExplorer III
