- DurbExplorerIf you have one switch and they should both go down together then the individual jacks are probably ganged together by a tube or a rod and rely on a single motor. There could be a pin or bolt that connects them together that is either missing or sheared. If a tandem system like that is not blocked correctly so that the stabilizer pads hit at the same time then it will put undue stress on the components.
I'm guessing this is not a new trailer but a new problem. If it is a new trailer and the stabilizers are not ganged then you might have a separate switch somewhere else. Time to get on your back and check it out. Not a fan of ganged stabilizers. My son had them on a TT and they were a pain. - Duke-44Explorer

Occasionally one side would not move while other side did.
No broken/sheared bolts/pins....just a stuck pad/leg from retracting too tight.
Going on 11 yrs and they still function great ---7 yrs of using weekly when we were FT and I really put some pressure on them - Duke-44Explorer

Mine does look somewhat tight. I forgot I was going to take a pry bar to it, when I got home, to see if it was just stuck.

On mine if they come down unevenly, when one hits the ground, the other then drops.

Mine does look somewhat tight. I forgot I was going to take a pry bar to it, when I got home, to see if it was just stuck.

That was the problem. But, I still had to pry it down and continue to push it down with a crowbar and my weight to get it to start working again.

Need to crawl up under and spray screw drives with a dry graphite
I've used it on mine...screw drives, pivot points on legs/braces, foot pads and front landing gear inner legs.
